MIPAGE, a nonprofit organization (hereafter referred to as “the Organization”), offers website design and related services to clients based on verbal agreements. As a nonprofit service provider, the Organization operates with the understanding that clients (hereafter referred to as “the Client”) are fully aware of and accept the risks associated with legal compliance, including but not limited to ADA accessibility. By engaging the Organization’s services, the Client acknowledges and agrees to the following:

  1. Verbal Agreement & Client Responsibility
    The Client understands that services provided by the Organization are based on verbal agreements and that the Organization builds websites, designs, and digital platforms based on the Client’s specific instructions. All legal responsibilities associated with the design, content, and functionality of the website—including compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and other applicable laws—are assumed by the Client.
  2. Role of the Organization
    The Organization provides design services strictly as a nonprofit provider, following the Client’s directives. The Organization does not take responsibility for ensuring that any website or digital platform complies with legal regulations, unless specifically requested and agreed upon in writing. The Client bears the full burden of ensuring legal compliance.
  3. No Guarantee of ADA Compliance
    The Organization does not guarantee that the website, application, or other digital products comply with ADA or other legal standards unless the Client specifically requests ADA compliance services. Any guidance on accessibility or compliance is provided for informational purposes only and should not be interpreted as legal advice.
  4. Client Assumption of Legal Risks
    By verbally agreeing to the services provided by the Organization, the Client acknowledges and accepts full responsibility for ensuring that the website complies with all federal, state, and local legal requirements, including accessibility, intellectual property, and privacy regulations. The Client assumes all legal risks associated with the use, implementation, and maintenance of the website or digital platform.
  5. Optional ADA Compliance Services
    The Organization may offer ADA compliance consultation or review services upon explicit request. However, these services are not included in the standard verbal agreement unless expressly requested by the Client. The Organization is not liable for any legal issues or non-compliance unless ADA services are formally contracted.
  6. Indemnification
    The Client agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Organization from any and all legal claims, liabilities, losses, or damages that may arise from the Client’s use of the website or failure to ensure legal compliance, including ADA accessibility.
  7. No Legal Consultation
    The Organization does not provide legal advice. The Client is encouraged to seek professional legal consultation to ensure that their website meets all necessary legal and regulatory requirements.

Company Refund and Service Policy

1. Payment Terms

All payments for services are final and non-refundable. Clients may choose to pay annually or monthly at the time of subscription. However, if a monthly payment is missed or processed late, the client will be required to switch to an annual payment plan to continue receiving services. Services will be suspended until the account is updated to an annual payment plan and any perceived past-due amounts and/or penalties are deemed resolved.

2. Non-Refundable Policy

All payments, including those for annual or monthly subscriptions, are non-refundable under all circumstances. This includes situations where a client attempts to re-enroll in a monthly payment plan after missing a payment or paying late. No exceptions will be made.

3. Account Cancellation

To cancel an account, clients must follow the cancellation instructions provided in the welcome email sent by Stripe at the time of subscription. No other methods of cancellation will be accepted. It is the client’s responsibility to retain and follow the instructions in the Stripe welcome email.

4. Service Termination

MiPage.org reserves the right to terminate services, without prior notice or further obligation, for any client who:  

– Fails to make timely payments, resulting in an unpaid account.  

– Engages in behavior deemed unruly, disruptive, or in violation of our terms of service.  

Terminated accounts will receive no further support, contact, or access to services, and any associated client sites or data may be taken offline at MiPage.org’s’s discretion.

5. No Obligation for Unpaid or Terminated Accounts

MiPage.org is under no obligation to maintain, host, or keep live any client sites or accounts that are unpaid or belong to clients whose services have been terminated for any reason.

Ownership and Rights to Digital Assets

MiPage.org retains full ownership of the domain, website, email accounts, and all associated artwork, designs, and digital content created or provided, or used as part of our services. Clients are granted a non-exclusive, revocable license to use these assets for the duration of their service agreement with MiPage.org, subject to the terms outlined in the agreement. MiPage.org reserves the right to modify, transfer, sell, or otherwise manage these assets at our discretion, provided such actions align with the terms of the service agreement and applicable laws.

Acceptance of Terms

The Client’s sign up acknowledges consent to engage in the Organization’s services constitutes their full acceptance of the terms outlined in this Disclaimer. The Client acknowledges that they are solely responsible for ensuring their website meets legal requirements and have read the terms outlined here and fully understand them.

  • Typical edit turnaround: 1–2 weeks
  • Graphic design timelines: 1 month+ (often faster, but not guaranteed)
  • No rush or expedited requests are accepted under standard service tiers

If your business requires more control, faster turnarounds, or immediate responses to ticket/ request submissions or on-demand visual support, the White Package is strongly recommended.


Acceptance of Terms

The Client’s verbal consent to engage in the Organization’s services constitutes their full acceptance of the terms outlined in this Disclaimer. The Client acknowledges that they are solely responsible for ensuring their website meets legal requirements.
